How do I set up notification preferences for "Conversation" posts made by students?

What is the Conversation module?

The "Conversation" is a continuous dialogue between you and a student. It is designed to provide a fast, effective communication tool for the consultant so that you can keep in touch in real time with your students. You can communicate quickly without sharing your mobile number and keep a historical log of the conversations.

How to set your notifications?

You can set up your preferences to be notified when a student posts a message. Notifications can be sent via email or text message to your mobile phone. For information on how to link your mobile phone, see "How do I link my mobile phone with CollegePlannerPro?"

Notification preferences

• From your account, select the "Settings" icon in the top right header to be redirected to your “Settings & Preferences" page.
• Select “Notifications” in the left-hand side menu
• In the " Notification Settings" section, choose how you want to be notified via email and text
• Clicking a toggle will give you the option to change the enabled or disabled setting.
• Toggle to ON/green to receive an email and/or text message (be sure that your mobile phone is linked)
• Changes are automatically saved
