Notes may be added to checklist items both on the Checklist Template and on My Checklist. Any changes made to items from the checklist template (such as adding or editing notes), may also be updated with items that have previously been imported from the template. How to add/edit notes to checklist items listed on the Checklist Template:
For the Checklist Template itself, you can add a description:
For Checklist Items:
- Select the Template first, and select Edit checklist items, or double-click the template card to open the checklist items view.
- Select an item from the list to edit.

In the edit view, add notes in the note box. Note that the box can be expanded to show more details if needed.
How to add/edit notes to checklist items listed on My Checklist:
- Navigate to the student profile
- From the "My Checklist" section, select the checklist item you want to add/edit a note to
- Add a note or edit the existing note
Note: For checklist items that were added to the "My Checklist" from a template, notes may be overwritten if updates are pushed out unless the note is detached. For more information on detaching items from the template import, see "How do I "Detach" a checklist item from the original template?"
