Connecting with Google Drive and installing the Chrome extension

To sync your Athena account to Google Docs, and enable the Chrome extension, you need to first click "review" on any of your students' essays. 

If you haven't yet, add your first student. Once you have added at least one student to your Athena account:

1. Select any of your students at the top left of your dashboard

2. On the Athena dashboard, click 'Common App' on the left bar

3. Once in the common app section, open up any of the student's essays by clicking on them

4. In the essay view, click "Review"

5. Athena will take ~30-60 seconds to review the essay. Once review is done, you'll see the different feedback comments it generated. Select at least one of the comments, and then click "Export selections". 

You will then see the options "Connect to Google Drive" and "Install Chrome Extension".
