How can students create a shortcut to access CustomCollegePlan on a phone or tablet?

Since CustomCollegePlan is fully mobile-responsive, students and parents may frequently access it from their phones or tablets. For easiest access, we recommend a shortcut be added to launch CustomCollegePlan from their device's home screen. 

For Android users

1. Open your browser and navigate to www.customcollegeplan.com
2. Hit the menu button and add the page to your bookmarks
3. Open your bookmarks, using the menu button, press down and hold on your CustomCollegePlan bookmark until you see an action menu
4. Select "Add to home screen"
5. Launch the CustomCollegePlan website by tapping on this icon

For iPhone users

Safari browser

1. Open your browser and navigate to the CustomCollegePlan login page (www.customcollegeplan.com)
2. Tap the "Share" icon from the bottom of the screen
3. Select "Add to Home Screen" icon
                       

4. Tap the "Add" button

5. Moving forward, students can launch the CustomCollegePlan site by tapping on the Home Screen icon they have created.

Chrome browser

1. First, ensure the Shortcuts App has been downloaded on your iOS device. Most iPhones already have this app pre-installed. Conduct a search by swiftly swiping down your home screen until you see a search bar.
2. Launch the Shortcuts App
   
   
3. To add a Chrome Bookmark to the Home Screen, tap Create Shortcut, or the "+" icon in the top-right
4. Search in the Actions bar the Chrome App
5. Scroll to locate Open URLs in Chrome and tap on it
6. Tap on the word "URL" and now type www.customcollegeplan.com and click Done 
7. Tap on the drop down arrow at the top to customize the logo color (optional) and to select "Add to Home Screen"
8. Feel free to further edit the title, color, and icon of the shortcut button, and then tap "Add" at the top right.
