Deadline Import Controls In Multi-User Accounts

Clearing Verified Dates and Importing new deadlines are both actions that impact all users on the account and sometimes people do it mistakenly thinking it won't affect their colleagues. This has come up in application seasons in the past. 

To prevent this problem, there is a setting for the Account Owner to turn OFF the ability for sub-users to import college deadlines (so, only the Account Owner can import). The same setting also disallows sub-users from mass-clearing the "verified" college deadline indicators. This essentially gives the Owner a way to avoid any confusion/overwriting of data caused by sub-users importing deadlines. 

Log in as the Owner and click the Profile (person icon) in the upper right, then "User Profiles" on the left and you'll see the toggle for Deadline Import in the permissions matrix for your account users.

When the Toggle is on (green), all users have the ability to clear verified deadlines and import new deadlines. This is the initial default for all multi-user accounts.

When the toggle is off (gray), only the account owner has these permissions. The icons for clearing verified deadlines and importing new deadlines will be hidden in the sub-user accounts. All account users will maintain the ability to both verify individual college deadlines and to report incorrect deadlines that they find within the system.
