Once you have enabled a student's or parent's account, you can send them an invitation to activate the account by creating a password. If at any time after that, any of them need help with resetting their password, then you have the option to send them a password reset.
From the student's profile, within the section for CustomCollegePlan Student/Parent Access, click on the green wording "Reset password". An email will be sent immediately, prompting them to reset their password.

The same steps can be followed to help parents reset their password(s).
