Once you have assigned a to-do to a student, the to-do will be listed on the To-Dos tab of the student's account. Students will not automatically be notified when a to-do is assigned to them; however, you may create an email notification with a custom note once the to-do is created.
How to create an email notification
- Once a to-do item has been created for a student, click on the to-do to bring up the to-do details
- Click on "Email To Do..."
- (Optional) Add a message to your to-do email
- Select your recipients
- Send the email
Additionally, you can create an alert so that the student receives an email reminder in advance of the task's due date.
