Once you’ve imported college deadlines into your CollegePlannerPro account, we highly recommend verifying them for your students. If you're new to the process, check out our article “How do I import college deadlines into my account?” before getting started.
The application deadlines in CollegePlannerPro are sourced from internal research, the Common App, and Peterson's College Data, which collects and releases them on an annual basis. If there is an incorrect deadline, it may be because a school changed the deadline after the information was initially collected. We highly recommend that you verify the deadlines of colleges your students are considering by either visiting the college’s website or giving their admissions offices a call.
Verifying an Application Deadline
- Head to the college’s profile page — using the Search button at the top of your screen is a quick and easy way to find the college you need, then click on the tab titled "Deadlines & Reqs"
- Once you have confirmed a deadline is correct, simply click the checkmark next to the appropriate date
What to do if a deadline is incorrect
- To change the date of a deadline, simply click on the calendar icon and select the appropriate date. Once a date is selected, the deadline is automatically noted as verified by you.
- Contribute to the member community by reporting an incorrect deadline
