As you build your students' college lists, either you or your students may indicate an application status/decision for each of these schools. This information is viewable on the student profile within your CollegePlannerPro account and on the Application Outline within the student's CustomCollegePlan account.
Once application status/decisions are indicated, you will begin to see more icons next to the colleges on your student's lists. You may simply hover your cursor over these icons to learn what each of them means or refer to the glossary below for a quick summary.
Two ways to track which applications have not been submitted yet
The filters in the admission decision report can be used to isolate applications that haven't been started yet, are a work in progress, or are ready to submit. To capture this information, select the following filters:
- No status logged
- Application is a work in progress
- Application ready to submit
Status Icons on the list of colleges
In the event that students have not updated their application status or have yet to submit their applications; referring to their college list and paying attention to any of the schools that DO NOT have the icons below will be a clear indicator that they have some work to do. It may be a good idea to follow up with your students, urging them to submit their applications, or perhaps you already have been given an update by the student, but they did not update their account. If you are aware of their application status/decisions, then you may enter this information directly into their profile. To learn how, please see this article How do I track the Application Status for Students?
