How do I cancel my subscription / close my account?
We are sorry that you are thinking of putting your subscription on hold. There is unfortunately no way to freeze an account, so you would need to proceed with canceling the account to cease billing. Immediately upon cancellation, you'll lose access to your account.
CollegePlannerPro does not and will not close your account on your behalf over the phone or by email. We ask that you log in to your account and complete the steps listed below to close your account. This helps ensure your account is canceled by you and your account data is deleted when you request it.
Canceling your subscription/closing account:
- Navigate to the Profile section () of your account.
- Select “Billing & Subscription” in the left-hand side menu
- Within the Your Subscription box, locate the red text that reads “Close my account”
- Click on “Close my account” and a new pop-up window will guide you through the process of canceling your subscription
- After reading the information, select the checkbox next to “Unlock button and proceed with delete request”
- Next, we ask for your feedback as to why you are choosing to close your account.
- When you’re ready to permanently delete your account, click on the red button for “Confirm Account Deletion”
You will receive an email shortly confirming your account cancellation and your credit/debit card will no longer be charged, effectively immediately.
Other important information to know:
In the event, you’d like to reverse your account cancellation, notify us right away so we can try to prevent your account data from being deleted. We're sorry to potentially see you go, though we do of course understand that your business needs may change from time to time.
