How to Set Up Your Athena AI Account
Follow these steps to get started:
1. Access Athena AI from CollegePlannerPro
- Log in to your CollegePlannerPro account
- Navigate to the Students tab

At the top right, launch Athena AI by clicking on the icon
2. Create Your Athena AI Account or Connect an Existing One
A. Create your Athena AI Account
- Click "Sign up for a free Athena AI Trial"

Enter your Organization name and some other details
- Click Continue
- Review how much time you'll save, based on the answers provided. Then move on to the next step.

Authorize the connection between Athena AI and CollegePlannerPro
*This allows data to sync between platforms and enables embedded features. - Confirm any requested permissions
Note: If your organization has a shared setup, you may receive an invite instead. However, you can create your own, separate account and be billed individually for your Athena AI membership.

When asked to confirm login, be sure to click "Continue with CollegePlannerPro"
3. ~3-minute Guided Tour
We highly recommend taking a few minutes to go through the guided tour that appears when you first log in. It includes helpful prompts and tips designed to walk you through the setup and make it easier to get comfortable with how your Athena AI account is organized.
4. Start Using Athena AI
Once connected, you can begin using Athena AI to:
- Review and improve student essays
- Generate ideas for application responses
- Provide structured, AI-assisted feedback within your workflow
